Bud the Cat Slicker the Dog

Beth brought Bud, a Maine Coon cat along with her when we married. After a couple years, we got Slicker, a registered Weimeraner. Slicker grew up fast and soon grew to 94 lbs and learned to walk on water.

After Bud passed, we adopted Bubba and Bozo who kept Slicker company.

Bozo left us first, followed by Slicker. Bubba lived to 18 at which time we aquired Diva. Or, maybe I should say we rescued Diva from a puppy mill.

A couple years ago, a neighbor convinced us to take in a feral cat. We named her J.A.L.O for "just a little one" since she was under 6 lbs and had a tiny head, tiny paws, and a tiny body. After treating her worms, she also needed laser surgery for a growth on her foot.

Mr. Cheetos
JALO needed a playmate of course, so we ended up rescuing another feral cat. This one was named Mr. Cheetos because he would only eat cheetos other than his dry food. (Oh, how that has changed!) Upon arriving in Tennessee, Mr. Cheetos became a Vols fan and, as you can see, does not like Alabama. He enjoys his time watching YouTube videos for cats and lounging on his person (Beth).

They both get along reasonbly well with Diva although Mr. Cheetos has learned that he can get first crack at the leftovers if he boxes out Diva from the area. He's the obvious alpha animal.

You would almost think they are innocent, calm cats. Well, as you can see, sometimes they are, but not always. They pretty much follow Beth from room to room and sleep on her whether in a recliner or in our bed. Diva has been relegated to the floor and the couch in the living room where she and Mr. Cheetos jockey for position.
